March Madness!

Hello readers, as February is strolling by us I cant help but obsess over my BIRTHDAY! My favorite month! There's so much to do for my birthday like plan my gathering and then were heading to New York for another night out to Webster Hall! I have already found my outfits for both nights and I cant wait to party the night away. I'll be 22 and I can't believe it. My whole year of being 21 went by so fast I felt like didn't really enjoy it all that much because of my job last year. Actually planning this whole thing has been way stressful and next year I just want to keep it low key.

Usually I don't post my outfits until after my birthday but I have decided to share it with you because I just love what I got. Although I'm still waiting on my matte leggings from Asos. On my actual birthday March 15th I'll be doing a birthday gathering (NOT a party). So I'll be dressed in this red dress I got on clearance from Forever 21 for $11.99.

On Saturday, March 16th we'll be heading to Webster Hall in NYC to party it up and I immediately died when I saw this shirt. Its also from Forever 21 and the color is bright and different from anything in my wardrobe so I thought it was a good thing to buy because I want to start wearing brighter colors. I'll be wearing this Hi-low dolman top with my matte leggings from Asos that I should be receiving anyday now.

Last Minute Valentines Day Gifts!

Well if you haven't gone out and purchased a Valentines day gift shame on you! But thats if you celebrate it and have someone to celebrate it with! I actually bought my lovely niece and sisters gifts for tomorrow. Here are a few ideas for all you last minute people! 

Some often forget that V-day isn't all about the flowers and chocolate. I love me some nail polish and cute little accessories as well! Forever 21 is the best place to get crazy amounts of shades of pinks and reds. They sell all types of nail polish from glitter to glow in the dark to SCENTED. I didn't even know that until I started looking up some things for this post. (FYI I'm definitely going to have to buy those to try them out.)

I LOVE accessories honestly! Not many retailers sell iPhone 5 cases but I noticed recently that F21 is now selling those alongside iPhone 4/4s cases. Plus there inexpensive! Although I don't have a Passport I think this wallet for it is so cute it would motivate me to get one. Cat eye sunglasses were totally in last season and this year they brought them back in a pale pink and seafoam/mint green color. I love sunglasses and any girl who hates squinting when the sun gets too much or even likes to dress up her beach attire would love a pair like these. Who doesnt love socks? I love patterned socks! Houndstooth is a fab pattern and in this color duo it makes it even harder to resist paying the crazy CHEAP price of $1.80! I mean come on thats a steal!

You could also get a charm from the nearest Pandora store or any jewelry store that sells them such as Hannoush, Kay Jewelers, and also Bloomingdales!

Remember that some people dont like the cliche of flowers and chocolates. (It is beautiful to receive flowers though!) Buy something different and heart felt and more appreciative, not only will the person on the receiving end love it but you'll love the feeling you get when you see how much they love it!

My Night Life

So on January 31st I went to New York solely for my cousin's birthday celebration. Now I normally wear dresses when I go out but thank god I didnt because it started snowing the Saturday we went out! I was freezing still but anything for my family. So I ended up wearing a blouse I purchased from Forever 21, leopard leggings from Forever 21 and flats I got from Target. I dont normally shop at Target but Im glad I did because those flats were extra comfy.

So here are a few instagram snaps of my outfit.

I honestly LOVED my outfit! I cant wait to actually wear this shirt again because I normally don't wear stuff like this but I want to take some risks this year with my outfits and dress outside my normalcy. My clutch is one of my FAVE purchases from H&M. I had got a gel manicure done early in the day. That was my first time ever getting one and I honestly love how it makes my nails look. I may upkeep with this look and invest in a good gel manicure kit. 

I'm back in Mass (sad face) but hey my birthday is coming and you know what that means. I'm going back to NY shortly! Sometimes I feel like I live in two places, and I guess I like it that way.
