All PINK Everything!

Well Fashionista's I've got another feature here for you and your just going to love it! You may recognize her from when Myspace was alive and well, or maybe you follow her on Twitter, or maybe you just know her from her famous Youtube channel. I've watched most of her videos on youtube and thought of her as a sweetheart. I never understood why people would feel the nerve to send negativity her way but when your on the internet there will always be someone who has to leave a hateful comment. She's had tons of fakes over the years and it seems as though someone always has something to say and yet she still stands strong to who she is and what she believes in. You've got to hand it to her she's a tough girl. What else would you expect from a New Yorker? Her name? Jennifer "Pinky" Ivory. Yes! The famous Pinky. I've been wanting to feature her on my blog for awhile and now I  finally have! When I approached her about being featured on my blog she was nothing but sweet to me and I will truely never understand why people would ever have something negative to say towards her or about her. I got the opportunity to interview her and get to know her a little bettter. I've always loved her style because its so unique in its own way and obviously so PINK! For all those self professed Pinky fans out there I've got the scoop for you!  She dishes on her style and also gives her opinion having a youtube channel.

TSF: Well, the obvious question is do you wear pink everyday? 

JI: I do wear pink everyday. Everyday since 2003 :)

TSF: What made you decide to dye your hair pink?

JI: I honestly always wanted pink hair & I was tired of my plain black hair so I took a risk. Plus my job gave me permission to do it so why not.

TSF: I think I have watched every video you have (or atleast try too), how long have you been on youtube?

JI: I've been on youtube since 2007, my first video was for my husband who was my boyfriend at the time. 

TSF: You shoutout a lot of unique designers, have you discovered them yourself or were they reccomended?

JI: Alot of them are my friends & alot write to me & ask me to check out their sites & if I like them to shout them out.

TSF: You wear a lot of different accessories do you ever have a difficult time picking things out when getting ready?

JI: Nope. I fall in love easily with accessories! I have good luck finding jewelry. :)

TSF: How do you decide on what your outfit is going to be?

JI: I start with my shirt then earrings then bottoms. It all depends on my mood as well. If I'm lazy I'll wear studs & a basic tee. If I want to  dress up I go all out with a cute top & jacket & accessories.

TSF: How would you define your style?

JI: My style is fun, creative, and multifarious (diverse).

TSF: Would you say that your style has a little bit of a New York feel in it?

JI: Most definitely. I have tons of shirts & accessories thatrepresent New York & New Yorkers are known to be flashy, I'd say I'm flashy as well.

TSF: Who would you say celebrity wise is an inspiration on the way you dress?

JI: Hmm.... Rihanna. She's edgy & unique. She inspires me to just be me.

TSF: What are five major items in your closet that you can't live without?

JI: Ahh this is so hard. My military style leather jacket, my denim jacket, my hot pinks boots.. I give up lol.

TSF: Spring is here, what would you say would be essential to have this season?

JI: Colorblock clothing!

TSF: For girls trying to start up a youtube channel, what advice would you give them?

JI: Be yourself! Be true! People can sense when you're being genuine! Promote yourself. Take time to get to know others that will make them like you & support you. A positive attitude is key.

TSF: Do you have a favorite brand and or designer?

JI: I do not have a favorite brand or designer but I am addicted to Forever 21 & Rich Girlz

21 And Fabulous!

Hello Fashionista's! As you should know my birthday was March 15th and I'm officially 21!! I can finally get into bars and drink, legally. Anywho I promised I would post my outfits for Friday night and Saturday night. On March 16th we left to NYC and stood for the weekend. We met up with our cousins and headed to Zamaan but they wouldnt let my younger cousins in because they are 18. We went right next door to Las Tainas which is a Latin restaurant. We ordered food and drinks and had a great time. I ordered my first drink as a 21 year old, a Sex on the Beach. It was good.

This is what I wore Friday night. My dress, tights, necklace, and earrings are from forever 21. My tiara was purchase at Spencers, and my shoes are by dollhouse from Burlingotn Coat Factory. On my lips I was wearing Kat Von D's Lolita lipstick with Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss over it.
On Saturday night, we went out to Webster Hall. I chose that club one for the circus act and two because my friends and some cousins who arent 21 yet could get in. I had the time of my life dancing my heart away with my family and few friends. It was truely amazing.

My dress is from Forever 21, leggings from Debs, flats American Eagle for Payless, Shrug from Torrid, pearls from Debs, earrings from chic. I love this dress, Its probably a favorite item in my closet! I was also wearing my Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss. I had the best weekend. It was definitely memorable.

A Trip To The Mall

This past weekend I went to the mall with my oldest sister with the intention to get accessories for my outfit for the friday night out after my birthday. The Friday after my birthday I'll be wearing a black dress so I wanted to make sure I had some cool accessories. I really cant wait to make that post because I'll be doing a post for each night. I ended up hitting up my addiction Sephora first. I purchased the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss. I purchased the "Baby Doll" color which looks like a pink. It is scented and it smells like a mix of chocolate and honey. I've heard great things about this brand, especially from people in the UK. I'm more of a lipstick kind of girl but I'm really trying to see how I like lip gloss, I have yet to use it but I will be soon. I also received my birthday gift because it's my birthday month. This time around I received the fresh SUGAR KISSES Mini Lip Duo. It inlcudes: Mini Sugar Lip Treatment  SPF 15 and Mini Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. I love the smell of both, its a fresh and sweet smell. They go on so smoothly, thats something I love.

After we left Sephora we headed down to the food court and grabbed lunch, I went for chinese and had Lo mein with Orange Chicken. With a couple stops along the way we then went to Forever 21. I had my eye on a dress but I ended up putting it back. I now cant stop thinking about it and I think I might have to go back to get it. However I did buy a couple of necklaces and a hair accessory. I also bought one of those reusable bags they sell because the pattern was cute and New York.

My total spending for the day was $28.30 not including lunch which I spent no more than $6.00 on. The lip gloss at Sephora cost me $15, in Forever 21 the bag and necklaces were each $1.50 and the hair clip was $5.80. I like Forever 21 for there reasonable prices. They have alot of new accessories and I really want to get some more.

OOTN: It Was A Circus

On January 28th I celebrated my cousin's 21st birthday with her and her friends. We celebrated at Webster Hall nightclub in the city and it was amazing! There was good music played and it was fun being with great people who know how to have a good time. We watched the circus event and it was by far the most amazing thing I've ever seen! I felt amazing that night.

The lipstick definitely looked brown but when I swatched it and put it on it is a dark plum. I wanted a plum color lipstick and this was definitely a great choice. I loved my outfit that night!

Heavily Addicted

Hola Fashionista's! Yesterday I went into the city and met up with my cousin. Well, technically I got there before her and strolled into Sephora and that's where she met me. It was perfect because she had to get a few things from there anyway. So before she even got there I ended up buying her birthday gift a little early. Her birthday is on the 25th but I didn't want to forget. I didn't take any pictures of what I bought her but It was a birthday girl pack that came with mini lip gloss, hand and foot cream and an exfoliator. I think there was something else but I can't remember. I also bought her the Benefit Tan About Town combo set. It included: Some Kind-A-Gorgeous cream to powder complexion perfector, BadGal Lash Mascara, and Hoola bronzer. For myself I bought a lipstick called Rosary from Kat Von D's line, I also purchased the Vanilla Birthday Cake Shower gel which also can be used as shampoo or bubble bath. If you read my previous post from my free birthday gift, you know how much I absolutely LOVE this product! I also bought a medicated exfoliator and acne spot treatment. I'm hoping it works well with my skin because I don't really breakout that often, but I wanted something for when I actually do get pimples. I spent a lot more than I expected too, but I didn't really buy anything unnecessary. After Sephora we went into Forever 21 and I bought a dress for her birthday weekend because were going to the club. I also bought knee high grey suede boots because they were on sale and they didn't really have any shoes that I really liked. 

I really have a weak spot for Sephora. It has become a bigger issue as time goes on I think. I love Sephora and all it offers. They have the best customer service!

Happy New Years!!!

Hello my loves, heres a few pics of myself  on New Years Eve! My whole outfit is Forever 21. My shoes are from Burlington Coat Factory, the brand is Dollhouse. I went and got my nails and did leopard print on my ring fingers. I also got my eyebrows done. I was really happy about how my outfit looked with my hair and i wore NO MAKEUP. Yup that's right i was bare faced besides mascara and a sweep of my NARS gold eye shadow. My ring is from Rainbows and all my other accessories are from Forever 21. My glitter lips are from Violent Lips which I purchased from Sephora.

I got so many compliments on my outfit. Especially on my vest and shoes!

A Very Merry Christmas

Hola Fashionsta's I wanted to share my Christmas gifts with you because I truly love them all! I hope you all got what you wanted and more. I was pretty tired on Christmas I went to work for only an hour and a half so I was pretty upset about that. Well here's my gifts!

My best friend got me this adorable Best Friends charm for my Pandora bracelet.

She also purchased this necklace for me. I absolutely love it and have worn it everyday since!

I've been dying for a good pair of mocs and I asked her to get me a pair for Christmas awhile ago and I'm surprised she remembered! I wore them the day after Christmas to the mall and they feel amazing!

She also gave me this $15.00 gift card which I used and purchased a PINK bag from Victoria Secret.

My cousin purchased me this Forever 21 gift card! I used it and bought myself clothes.

My mom gave me money, I asked for this so I could get clothes.

My co-worker gave me this visa gift card! I wasn't expecting this at all and it came in handy when I was buying clothes.

My cousin also bought me this Marilyn Monroe mug.

This gift below is from my sister Val. 

I've wanted these books for a long time now and I started reading LA Candy at work. 

She bought me this shoe necklace and its perfect.

This gift is from one of my aunts.

This gift is from my oldest sister Jenn. I absolutely love the smell!
