Mercedes Benz Fashion Week starts in just a week and once again is partnering with Maybelline and YouTube to offer live online streams of the runway at Lincoln Center. Morw thand 30 shows will stream live from YouTube's "Live From The Runway" channel. September 1st they will go live for a weeks worth of pre-season coverage priorto September 8th. It will also cover backstage beauty coverage, recaps, and trend forecasting.

J Brand Announces New Sportswear Line!

The jeans label J Brand has announced today that they will be launching a full sportswear line for next spring. Its aiming to sell its new collection alongside Helmut Lang, Rag & Bone, Isabel Marant and Carven retail floor. J Brand has built a significant denim business at retailers such as Barney Co-op, Harvey Nichols, Ron Herman, Net-a-porter.com, Montaigne market and Bloomingdale's. The label also plans to add shoes and handbags in 2013 and will also open a flagship store in New York and London in three years, said so by CEO Jeff Rudes.
